The MacEwan University Health Centre is a unique collaboration between MacEwan University and the University of Alberta, Department of Family Medicine. The Family Physicians of the MacEwan University Health Centre, formerly of the Royal Alexandra Family Medicine Centre as well as the MacEwan Medical Clinic, will continue to offer their patient community accessible, comprehensive, and uninterrupted care at this new facility.
In addition, we welcome our new patient community, the students and staff of MacEwan University.
The MacEwan University Health Centre is an Academic teaching site and as such, will have Family Medicine Residents working alongside your provider. In addition, you may see medical students as well as students from other disciplines working and learning in this new state of the art medical facility.
The MacEwan University Health Centre physicians and their teams pride themselves on providing innovative, patient-centered care. They promote healthy living through preventative health and education as well as look after all of your routine, acute and chronic health care needs.
The MacEwan University Health Centre is built on the principles of the Patients Medical Home. Those principles at the highest level are:
Personal Family Physician
Team Based Care
Electronic Medical Records
Education, Training and Research
Evaluation and Quality Improvement
Internal and External Supports
We would like to thank all of our patients for their understanding during this time of transition.
